For her final American breakfast Helene had pancakes and catchup, and she was rather convincing that it was good, not sure I would recommend it, but hey the pancake disappeared!Here we are in Portland, ready to say good bye to America, to endless shopping and to StarBucks, in the hopes of returning soon!
And a final picture from Amsterdam, where we had pizza for breakfast before we said thank-you and good-bye to GrAndy and Grandma. Helene and GrAndy sat and watched the planes land and take off and move about as they do at airports!
The final flight was at hand, and we found our seats, and Helene fell asleep after ordering her last "apple juice, please" (she picked up enough English to get what she wanted!). Pappa met us and drove us home, where another week of jetlag waited, and it was great to sleep in our own beds again!
