Ranch Day!

Grandma and Granpa's good friend Dale is building a Ranch an hour or so outside of Lubbock. We were invited up for the day to hang out, to walk and to talk for a while. Of course I had to find some proper ranch-clothes for Helene, and I must say it look liked she fit in just fine!!

Here Helene is modeling her attire with help from Grandma. You can't see the details, but the flowers on the jeans matches the flowers on the jacket!












Here Grandma and Jo smile in the sun! Jo was on her way home to Iowa and a snowstorm!












Here Pappa Olav and Helene are flying - at least Helene is, Olav is probably just getting dizy!

















When we went for a walk, Helene was put into a backpack with a pillow and carried around on Pappa Olav. At first she wasn't too happy about her travel arrangements, but once we started moving and walking around she actually liked it!
